Interactive White Board resources include a wide
range of formats. These include -
- Smart Notebook files to use with the Smart Notebook software
provided by the Department
- Promethean Flipcharts (these can be run on Smart Notebook but
some features - such as links - may not work. However free
ActivInspire can be downloaded to run these flipcharts on. (The
NSWDET will not support Promethean software after March 2011
- Interactive web sites (runs using Internet Explorer)
- Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Whilst the DET has moved to Smart Notebook Software, Promethean has
thousands of excellent lessons that we should not ignore.
